As a new patient you will be given an hour long appointment. The Chiropractor will take a full medical history and carry out a comprehensive examination. You will then be given a diagnosis and treatment plan, the first treatment happens on the initial visit. The initial visit is 1hr long and follow-up visits are always 30 minutes long. Everything will be explained to you along the way and you are not obliged to go ahead with treatment if you don’t want to. Treatment usually involves deep tissue massage and joint mobilisation or manipulation. Other methods such as dry needling (using acupuncture needles) or muscle release techniques as well as home exercise and stretch programs may be used.
